Reverence falls, life’s crystal call
The silent sound, lost and then found
My ship has lost the light
The sails they shadow us
A resting place so plagued
The dreams are torn, my fright
Only the night, hold the mast so tight
In my mind, don’t fear your find
In the withered cave
With no one left to save
You walk alone in white
A darkness on my sight
On my own love, hands that clasped lost
The sky will fade grey, now I hear you say
All these broken masks, crushing my last
Haunted hide away
Hide it, hide it
Through that old love, my reverence falls
The silence screeching, voices screaming
All these broken masks, killing my last
Hour of hope
Hide it, hide it

Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator
